Simple Energy is rethinking what electric mobility can look like in India. With a sharp focus on battery performance, engineering, and sustainability, the company set out to build a new standard for EVs—one that could go farther, ride smoother, and look futuristic while staying deeply functional. As a homegrown challenger brand, Simple Energy was poised for something bigger than a logo—they needed a launchpad for the long term.

We partnered with them from day zero. This was a true zero-to-one project where we worked closely with the founding and industrial design teams to define not just the brand identity, but its future trajectory. While the immediate brief included a visual system—logo, typography, palette—we were also invited to push the envelope: imagining dashboard interfaces, future product concepts, and renders of next-gen EV hardware.

The resulting brand system was engineered for forward motion. The “S” mark doubles as a lightning bolt, symbolizing both energy and speed. A custom futuristic typeface and minimal black-and-white palette gave the brand a sleek, high-performance presence—designed to feel native in the tech and transportation worlds alike. This visual clarity was mirrored in UI/UX explorations across in-vehicle interfaces and digital platforms.

For us, this project was about more than branding—it was about vision. Simple Energy gave us the rare opportunity to build for today while sketching for the decade ahead. The result is a cohesive brand ecosystem that not only reflects where the company is now, but hints at where it's headed—and what electric mobility in India could look like next.
