AEREO began as Aarav Unmanned Systems (AUS), a pioneering drone tech company born out of IIT Kanpur. Over the past decade, they’ve evolved into India’s leading provider of integrated drone solutions—offering scalable, end-to-end services across mining, infrastructure, agriculture, and smart city development. But as the company prepared to expand globally, it became clear that the legacy brand needed a bold transformation.
We were brought in to lead that evolution. From renaming to rebranding, this was a ground-up transformation designed to reflect AEREO’s future-facing vision and international ambition. The founding team had one goal: to become India’s foremost aerial intelligence brand, built for scale, speed, and impact across industries.
The new identity takes flight—both literally and conceptually. We drew inspiration from aerodynamics and natural flight—incorporating feather and bird motifs, grounded in a sleek infinity symbol that represents continuous movement and limitless potential. Sky-toned blues and topographical patterns tied the visual system to AEREO’s operational terrain, striking a balance between cutting-edge technology and the natural environments it serves.
The result is a brand built to scale—just like their drones. AEREO now operates with a distinct, globally resonant identity that reflects its evolution from AUS into a category leader. For Lazy Eight, this was the kind of transformation we love: repositioning a technically brilliant company to own its space not just in India, but on the world stage.
