While their portfolio was fast evolving, their brand presence needed to catch up. They came to Lazy Eight looking for a transformation: something future-ready, bold, and built to last the next decade or more.

What made this engagement meaningful was the shift in intent. More and more VC firms are realizing their brand doesn’t just speak to LPs—it needs to resonate with the startups they hope to back. For 3one4, this meant stepping beyond the typical institutional look and embracing a brand that could feel as thoughtful and product-centric as the founders they invest in.

We built a refined brand system that balanced rigor and momentum. From typography and palette to motion design and interaction principles, the identity was designed to feel confident, modern, and intuitive. We extended this thinking into their print systems—built with decks and reports in mind—and a fully redesigned website that serves both founders and funders alike.

This was one of our earliest VC projects—and a standout. It set the tone for a category we’ve come to specialize in. With 3one4 Capital, we helped reposition a leading fund as a design-forward brand with long-term clarity—bridging the worlds of finance and innovation through smart, intentional storytelling.
