Capfort Ventures is a new kind of early-stage fund—one shaped by legacy investors with deep roots in India’s startup ecosystem. When longtime angels Abhimanyu Bisht and Kavit Sutariya set out to formalize their thesis into a future-forward venture capital firm, they approached Lazy Eight to help craft the brand from the ground up. Their ambition was clear: to support founders building for India over the next 10 to 20 years.
We were drawn to that mission because it mirrors our own. At Lazy Eight, we’ve always believed in backing bold ideas that help shape the India of tomorrow. Capfort’s vision was deeply aligned with ours—and the project became a full-spectrum zero-to-one build. From name and narrative to visual identity and launch strategy, we worked hand-in-hand with the founders to give form to a thesis that blends tradition with technological foresight.
The brand system balances roots and radicalism. Inspired by the symbolism of a fort—stability, strength, protection—we created a modern flatmark that anchors the identity. Collage-driven visuals mix cultural motifs with futuristic imagery, expressing Capfort’s role as a bridge between heritage and innovation. This duality carried through into print decks, marketing systems, and the full digital platform.
Capfort Ventures now operates with a brand as sharp as its thesis. Its sleek, user-centric website makes the fund’s positioning clear to both LPs and founders, while the broader brand system communicates confidence, clarity, and a long-term outlook.
